Eleven year old Venkatesh Peketi is the second child of a village farmer. He is studying in Grade 2 in a school run by Sankurathri Foundation in the village of Yandamuru.
In a routine eye camp organized in the school, it was found that he had a problem with his vision and needed corrective glasses. He and his father were advised to go for a full eye examination at the Srikiran Eye Hospital, run by Sankurathri Foundation. It was established that Venkatesh needed a pair of glasses and was prescribed one.
His father being a poor farmer could not afford to buy one and it’s your generous donation, Natasha that enabled Sankurathri Foundation to bear the cost of glasses for Venkatesh. He is now very happy that he can see clearly again.
Thank you, Natasha for your thoughtful gift that has brought a smile to his face!
