Subhash can see better!

Dear Vivek,

Twelve year old Vegesina Subhash is studying in Grade 5 in the rural village of Yandamuru.

During a routine free eye screening at the school, it was found that Subhash’s vision was poor and that he needed corrective glasses to see better. In order to prescribe the correct glasses, he was asked to go to the Hospital with his father for a detailed examination.

His father who works as a carpenter in the same village took a day off from work and went to the hospital along with his son. After the complete eye examination it was established by the doctor that Subhash needed corrective glasses and was prescribed one.

His parents could not afford to pay for the glasses, and it’s your generous donation, Vivek that enabled Sankurathri Foundation to provide him with the much-needed glasses and Subhash is very happy to be able to see clearly again.
