Seventy-five year old Naga Raju is a poor farmer and lives with his wife in the village of P.K. Kothagudem. He has three daughters and two sons but nobody to look after him and his wife.
Struggling to make ends meet, Nagaraju and his wife were managing with the meager income he earned. Lately, he had become very depressed because of his diminishing vision. This hampered his work and he was not able to do even his personal chores which upset him more.
Not wanting to become a burden on his children, he decided to get his eyes checked. When he heard about the Eye Camp, he went there and got his eyes examined. After his complete eye examination it was established that he needed corrective glasses. . When he was given the prescription for glasses, he confided that he could not afford to buy one and did not want to ask his son to buy him one either.
It was your generous donation, Virendra that enabled Sankurathri Foundation to provide him with a pair of much-needed glasses. He can now see clearly and is very happy that he can do his chores himself.
Thank you Virendra for this gift that has put a smile to Nagaraju face!
