Sixty-five year old, Appa Rao, used to work as a daily wage laborer up to last year.
But after meeting with an accident, he had to get his right leg amputated because of which he is not able to work now. He has four children, but he and his wife have chosen to live with their oldest son and his family.
Up to last year he was able to manage his own personal chores but soon started complaining about his failing eye sight. His wife accompanied him to an eye hospital for a check-up. After a thorough eye-examination, it was found that he needed corrective glasses, to see well. When he was told about the price of the glasses, he said that he had no money as he was not working any lonegr. Seeing his plight, Sankurathri Foundation, provided her a pair of glasses.
Your generous donation, Elizabeth, enabled Sankurathri Foundation to provide a pair of much-needed glasses to Appa Rao, with which he can now see clearly.
Thank you,Elizabeth, for you kind gesture that has made a big difference in Appa Rao§s life!
