Ramulu does not have to depend on his wife now!

Sixty year old, Ramulu, works as an agricultural laborer, to earn a living. He lives with his wife, who also works as a laborer, just like him. They hail from the village of Biccavolu, in coastal Andhra Pradesh.

A few months ago, Ramulu met with an accident in which he broke his left leg and ever since, he has been out of work and had to depend on his wife’s income. This put much strain on her to earn enough to meet their needs.

Ramulu, who had poor vision, also broke his glasses in the accident. With the sudden increase in expenses because of treatment and medicines, they had depleted their savings and had no money left, to buy him a new pair of glasses.
