Veeraraju can continue working and earning for his family!

Sixty-five year old, Veeraraju`lives with his wife in the village of Biccavolu, in coastal Andhra Pradesh. Both, he and his wife work in the nearby village as agricultural laborers and together, they earn up to $110 a month.

His wife has poor health and she needs frequent medical attention. This causes immense financial hardships on him, as all their savings get depleted in this manner. In spite of having seven children, not one of them offers to help them financially or even take care of them.

Lately, Veeraraju was not able to work everyday because of his failing vision. He knew that, if this continued they would soon have to turn to their children for help. He decided to go for a complete medical examination and was told to buy a pair of corrective glasses, to correct his vision.With no savings, he could not afford to buy one.
