Rambabu can get back to work

Kannuri Rambabu, 66y, M
Dear Jennifer,

Sixty-six year old, Rambabu hails from the village of Toorangi, in coastal Andhra Pradesh. He lives all alone and works as a farm laborer earning up to $80  a month, which is barely enough to meet his basic needs.

Although he has two children, none of them check on him or even pay for his needs. Rambabu worked to support himself and had learned not to depend on his children.

But when Rambabu suddenly realized that his vision was diminishing, he became very depressed as he couldn’t go to work anymore.  At that time, Sankurathri foundation was organizing a free eye camp in his village, where he had a complete eye checkup done and was advised to wear corrective glasses. With no savings of his own, he could not afford to buy a pair of glasses.

Sankurathri Foundation was able to provide, Rambabu a pair of glasses, only because of your generous donation, Jennifer.

Thank you, Jennifer, for your kindness. With your help, Rambabu can now see better and looks forward to resuming work.
