Anu Radha is happy and healthy!

Eleven year old, Anu Radha is the second child of Mr.Satyanarayana, who is a mason by profession. They hail  from the village of Penumarthi, in coastal Andhra Pradesh. Anu Radha’s father makes reasonable amount of money when he finds work but he doesn’t make any money, on other days.  On an average, he earns about $120 per month. With such meager income, he finds it difficult to support his family and his mother.

Anu Radha is studying in the sixth grade at Sarada Vidyalayam, a school run by Sankurathri Foundation. Since, the children were malnourished and on a hungry stomach, Anu Radha could not concentrate on her studies when she started schooling.

Your generous donations, BnT, Ghazal, Ted (x2), Larissa, Joshua, Gayle, Pooja, Dean and Julie (x2) and Ganesh (x2) has made it possible for Sankurathri Foundation to provide a year of nutritious lunches comprising of rice, lentils, leafy vegetables and clarified butter to Anu Radha. She will also be given a glass of milk in the afternoon. With these two food supplements, Anu Radha will become healthy and will be able to concentrate on her studies better.
