Nagamma can see better again

Sixty seven year old Turelli Nagamma is a resident of Tosipalli village in coastal Andhra Pradesh. She is a widow and lives with her son. Up to last year she was able to manage her own chores at home and also help her daughter-in-law with domestic work. But slowly her vision has dropped since last one year and she found it difficult to manage at home and she felt very depressed.

She attended a free eye screening camp conducted by Sankurathri Foundation and after a thorough eye examination it was found that she needs corrective glasses for her to see well. Since she is not an earning member of the family, she said she could not afford to buy a pair.
