Eight year old Raju is the second child of an electrician in Penumarthi Village. Raju’s father supports his wife and three children on a salary of $100 a month. Families like Raju’s don’t place much importance on education. Boys and girls are sent to work in order to supplement the family income, and they end up as child laborers. Sarada Vidyalayam is a school that provides free education to such children.
Raju is now studying in Grade 3 at Sarada Vidyalayam. He is benefitted by the strict curriculum, and the high quality of education. The school also teaches the students discipline, and moral values in order to groom them to be good citizens of the society.
Your donation of two sets of school uniforms, Mark and Lisbeth, will ensure that Raju will come to school with pride for the next academic year. Thank you, Mark and Lisbeth, for creating a bright future for Raju by enabling him to go to school.
