Rajulamma help her daughter-in-laws with domestic work.

Ummu Rajulamma is a 55 year old widow who lives in Pithapuram village with her sons. Up to last year she was able to manage her own chores at home and also help her daughter-in-laws with domestic work. But slowly her vision has dropped since last one year and she found it difficult to manage at home and she felt very depressed.

Rajulamma attended our free eye screening camp conducted by Sankurathri Foundation, and it was found that she needed corrective glasses to see well. She, however, could not afford the glasses, and went away. Your donation, Marisa, made it possible for Sankurathri Foundation to donate a pair of glasses to her. Now she is happy because she can help around the house, and not feel guilty about being a burden on her children.
