Satyavathi can see better now

Fifty five year old Chitrada Satyavathi lives in the village Raparthi with her husband. She has two daughters and two sons who are married and living with their families. Up to last year she was able to manage her own chores at home. But since few months she was depressed as she noticed defective vision in her both eyes. She also has no money for medical checkup.

At that time she came to know about Sankurathri Foundation and came to the eye hospital for a free eye checkup. It was found that she needed corrective glasses, but her economic condition did not make it possible for her to buy a pair.
