Jyoshna can now attend another year of school

Nine year old Chillipalli Jyoshna is the second child of Lingaiah, a factory worker. Though her father earns enough to keep her family out of poverty, they do not earn enough to afford to send Jyoshna to school. That coupled with the fact that families do not normally educate their girl children means she would have remained illiterate had she not been given admission in Sarada Vidyalayam, the school run by Sankurathri Foundation. She studies in grade 4 and is a dedicated student.

Your donation of a year of tuition, Bellevue Rotary Foundation, will ensure that Jyoshna remains in school for at least another year. Every year that a girl remains in school exponentially increases her chances of a better future.
