Atchiyamma’s blindness has been cured

Tammalaboina Atchiyamma is a 60 year old widow living in the village Kondayyapalem. Her husband died 5 years back. She has 2 sons and 1 daughter, and she lives with her younger son who is working as a Motorcycle Mechanic. Over the last few months, she developed cataracts in both her eyes, which left her almost blind. She was not able to do any of her own chores, and realized she had become a burden on her son and daughter in law.

Since she does not have any income of her own, and her son makes barely enough money to keep the family fires burning, she could not afford to pay for a cataract surgery. Your donation, Alexander, enabled Sankurathri Foundation to perform a free cataract surgery on both her eyes.
