Seventy year old Nalam Sanyasamma is a resident of Rangampeta in coastal Andhra Pradesh. She has 2 daughters and 3 sons who are married and living with their families. Her husband died of anĀ age related health problem 6 years back. She is living with her small son and his family who is working as a Carpenter in the same village.
Sanyasamma developed cataracts in both eyes and since she had no money for the surgery, Sankurathri Foundation performed it for free. However, even after the surgery, she found that she needed corrective spectacles for her to see well, and she could not afford, since she doesn’t have any income of her own.
Your donation, Steve, enabled Sankurathri Foundation to gift a pair of corrective glasses to Sanyasamma, and she can now see much better because of them.
Thank you, Steve, for your generosity.
