Forty eight years old Koppisetty Annapurna is a resident of Mamidada in coastal Andhra Pradesh. She lives with her husband, Venkatwarulu , who is as a farm laborer. Her husband earns $ 2 a day when he has work, and she has 1 daughter and 2 sons who are married and living with their families.
Annapurna developed cataract in her left eye, which was operated upon by Sankurathri Foundation. However, even after the surgery, she found that she needed corrective glasses in order to see well. Annapurna, however, had no money to pay for the glasses, and though she would continue without glasses.
Your donation, Casey, enabled Sankurathri Foundation to provide a free pair of glasses to her. She can now see well again, and will not have to be dependent on others for her daily chores.
Thank you, Casey, for donating a pair of corrective glasses to Annapurna.
