Ammaji can see well again

Gorrela Ammaji is a 66 year old widow living in the village of Vakalapudi in coastal Andhra Pradesh. She lives with her  eldest son and his family ever since Ammaji’s husband passed away five years ago. Ammaji’s son works as a daily laborer in a local industry. He earns about $40 per month and supports his wife and two children. For the past two years, Ammaji’s vision has been deteriorating. She could not afford new spectacles and at the same time, she did not want to ask her son or daughter-in-law.

Your donation, Anjana, enabled Sankurathri Foundation to provide a free pair of glasses to her. Ammaji can now see well again.
