Darakonda can work and care for his wife

Amaladasu Darakonda works as a daily laborer sustaining himself and his wife, who is ailing and therefore, home-bound. Though they have three children, they live alone. Taking care of his wife and providing for her is a very demanding task for Darakonda, given her illness and the costs of medications and hospital visits. His monthly income of about 40$ is barely enough to make ends meet.

Over the last few months, Darakonda noticed that his vision was blurry. This was proving to be a big hurdle, because he was neither able to work effectively nor care for his wife well.
