Apparao can now continue to support his wife

Geddam Apparao lives with his bedridden wife in the village of Samalkot and works as a farm laborer. He earns about 50$ a month whenever he finds work and supports himself and his wife with this income. They have four sons and one daughter but no one is helping him. So he completely depends on his own earnings to look after his wife ever since she fell sick two years ago.

His deteriorating eye sight worried him as he could not work properly. During an eye camp, it was diagnosed that he needed corrective glasses to see properly. Being poor, he could not afford them.
