Sixty five year old Chennam Narsimha Murthy is a widower who lives alone in the village of Samalkot and works as an unskilled laborer, in the construction industry, to support himself. He earns about 40$ a month whenever he finds work. Though he has one son and two daughters, he does not like to impose his needs on them. So he completely depends on his own earnings to sustain himself.
His deteriorating eye sight worried him as he could not work properly. During an eye camp, it was diagnosed that he needed corrective glasses to see properly. Being poor, he could not afford them.
Your donation, Cristen, enabled Sankurathri Foundation to provide a free pair of glasses to Narsimha Murthy. Thank you for your generosity.
