Veeraraju’s vision is restored

Seventy one year old Uppalapati Veeraraju is a widower who used to work as a mason until his wife died three years ago.  Now he lives with his son and helps in household chores. They live in the village of Samalkot.

For the past one year, his deteriorating eye sight worried him as he could not work. During an eye camp, it was diagnosed that he had cataract and he underwent surgery and received  corrective glasses as well. But, that pair broke, and Veeraraju was unable to afford another pair as he was a dependent.
