Sixty five year old Amkamreddy Simhachalam is a resident of Routhulapudi village in coastal Andhra Pradesh. She lost her husband 15 years ago and has no children. For the past 15 years she has been living alone and supporting herself by earning around $30 per month by working as a domestic helper. Over the last year, her eye sight has been going down, and she noticed that she could not perform her duties to her satisfaction. This has caused a tremendous stress on her and she was worried about her future.

She attended a free eye camp conducted by Sankurathri Foundation, and your donation ensured that she was provided with a pair of corrective glasses. Now she can see much better, and is not worried about being able to continue fending for herselfWhen her neighbor mentioned about the free eye camp she attended the camp.
