Narayanamma’s life has changed because of your donation

Seventy year old Polarapu Narayanamma is a resident of Muvvalapeta village in coastal Andhra Pradesh. She has one son and she has been living with him ever since she became a widow ten years ago. As she has been a house wife for a long time she could never go out and make her a living. But she does help her daughter in law at home in whatever way she can. Unfortunately for the last one year she couldn’t make herself useful at home since her eyesight has been going down.

She was diagnosed with cataracts, and since she couldn’t afford to pay for it, Sankurathri Foundation performed a free cataract surgery on her. Post-surgery, she still needed glasses, and your donation made it possible for a pair of glasses to be donated to her. She is now happy because she can see well, and will be able to help out in her son’s house.
