Nookalamma can get back to work and look after her ailing husband

Sixty year old Nookalamma is a resident of Paripaka village in Andhra Pradesh. She works as a daily laborer and earns between $ 25 to $ 30 per month. Her husband, Apparao, has a heart problem and he can not work. They have four sons and one daughter all are settled in life and moved away from home. Hence these elderly couple live on their own and some how manage with her income.

Over the last six months, however, her vision has been going down, and it was found that she needed corrective glasses. Your donation made it possible for Sankurathri Foundation to provide a pair of free glasses to her. The smile on her face tells you how happy she is now that she can see better.
