Nagalakshmi can see better with new uniforms because of your donation

Koppisetti Naga Lakshmi
Dear Molly,

Koppisetty Nagalakshmi, 9 year old girl studying grade 3 at Sarada Vidyalayam in rural Kakinada Mandal. East GodavariDistrict of Andhra Pradesh,India. Nagalakshmi’s father is a daily laborer. He occasionally joins as a construction worker to support his family. Her mother is a house wife looking after the house and other four children. One of her elder sister is illiterate and works as a daily laborer. Her other elder sister is studying grade 7 at Sarada Vidyalayam. Her father is Bhadram who earns about $40 to support the whole family.

Under such circumstances education is never a priority for them and if they send the child to work he can make some money to supplement the family income. In this manner many boys and girls in the rural areas are becoming child laborers and supporting their families.

Thus there are many children in the rural areas who are drop outs of education because of their parents’ economic conditions. Sarada Vidyalayam is helping such children to complete their education without any financial burden to their parents. The school provides not only free education. The school maintains a very strict curriculum and provides quality education and imparts good discipline and values to groom them as good citizens.

With your assistance we have provided a set of two uniforms to Nagalakshmi.

Thank you Molly for helping Nagalakshmi to go to school with new uniforms.
