Vollijon can now see well

Thank you for gifting a pair of glasses to Shaik Vollijon.

Sixty five years old Shaik Vollijon is a resident of Rama Krishnaraopeta, Kakinada in coastal Andhra Pradesh. She lives with her husband Nana Saheb who is working as a farm laborer. Her husband earns $ 3 a day when he is able to find work. She has four daughter and four sons who are married and living with their families.

Shaik Vollijon developed cataracts in both eyes and was operated upon by Sankurarthri Foundation. However, she could not afford a pair of corrective glasses either. Thanks to your generosity, she has now been gifted with a pair of glasses, and her vision has been restored.
