Tatarao can see better now

Sixty-eight year old Pattam Tatarao is a farm laborer living in the village Tallarevu, Andhra Pradesh. He has two sons and one daughter who are married and living with their families. Tatarao and his wife are living below poverty line because his monthly earning is only $ 50.

Suddenly he lost his vision. As he was blind in both the eyes due to cataracts he found it was difficult for him to manage his own needs and go to work. When he attended the free eye screening camp at Sankurathri Foundation, his cataracts were diagnosed. Your donation made it possible to perform a free cataract operation on Tatarao.

He can see better now, and is looking forward to getting back to work soon.
