Ravanamma can smile again

Thank you for coming together to restore her vision to Ravanamma.

Sixty year old Mora Ravanamma is a resident of Kondayyapalem village in Andhra Pradesh. Her husband Simhachalam is physically handicapped, and they have one son and one daughter. The couple lives with their son, who works as a motor mechanic. Over the last few months Ravanamma’s vision has been dropping due to cataract, and she was nearly blind in both eyes, which made it difficult to look after her husband.
Thanks to your generosity, Sankurathri Foundation was able to conduct a cataract operation on her. Your gift also paid for post operative care, medicines and two follow up visits. Thank you for giving Ravanamma back her independence.
