Dear Chris,

Thank you for donating two sets of school uniforms to Vimala.

Vimala is the first child of an agricultural labourer in rural Andhra Pradesh. Her father, Sathibabu  earns 80$ a  month barely able to support his family’s basic necessities.

Families such as Vimala’s do not believe in education, much less education for the girl child, so a girl like her would normally not have been going to school at all. Vandana is, however, enrolled in Grade 8 at Sarada Vidyalayam, the school run by Sankurathri Foundation. Your donation of two sets of uniforms and footwear will ensure that Vimala comes to school daily, and gets a quality education.

Thank you for coming supporting Vimala.
