gave 10 for a pair of glasses |
posted September 9, 2011

Rayudu Mariyamma, 55 years, is a widow from Samalkot village, who lives with her son and his family. Up to last year she was able to manage her own chores at home and also help her daughter-in-law with domestic work. But slowly her vision has dropped since last one year and she found it difficult to manage at home and she felt very depressed.
When Mariyamma attended a free eye screening camp in Samalkot it was found that she has cataracts in both eyes, both of which were operated upon by Sankurathri Foundation. However, even afterwords, she found that she needs corrective glasses for her to see well. Your donation, Don, enabled Sankurathri Foundation to provide a pair of glasses to her.
Thank you for helping Mariyamma to see better.
