Bhaskaramma can see better and feel better

Sixty year old Konthala Bhaskaramma lives in the village of Rajanagaram in coastal Andhra Pradesh. She was widowed three years ago. Ever since, she lives with one of her two sons and his family.

Bhaskaramma, for the past six months suffered from deteriorating vision. During an eye examination, it was discovered that Bhaskaramma needed spectacles. She could not afford new spectacles and, at the same time, she did not want to ask her son.
