Gangamma can work again – Sankurathri Foundation

Dear Jason,

Gangamma is 75 years old and lives in the village of Nagulapalli in Andhra Pradesh, India. She works as a laborer, earning one dollar per day. Recently, Gangamma’s eyesight has diminished and she could no longer work to support herself. Sadly, Gangamma could not afford a medical checkup or glasses.

Sankurathri provides eye screening camps throughout Andhra Pradesh, which Gangamma attended. With donations like yours, Jason, Sankurathri was able to supply the needed restorative equipment for Gangamma. Something as simple as a pair of glasses will allow her to be independent again.
