Now Manasa is a happy and healthy child

Kandikonda Satya Chakra Manasa
Dear Ben, Nenah, Rodica, Tom, and Russell,

Manasa is an eight year old girl studying at Sarada Vidyalayam in Andhra Pradesh, India. Her father is an agent in the private service and earns about $50 per month when he can find work. Manasa has one brother and one sister. Because of her father’s poor economic background, Manasa and her siblings need additional support in order to attend school and receive nourishment.

Education is rarely a priority for children in rural India. Poverty stricken families are often forced to send their children into child labor in order to adequately support their family. Sankurathri supplies lunches to students like Manasa as an incentive to attend school and avoid child labor.

Thanks to your donation, Ben, Nenah, Rodica, Tom, and Russell, Manasa receives a balanced lunch and a glass of milk every day at school. Poverty stricken children will often only eat this one meal a day because their family cannot afford to feed them. Manasa loves going to school and can focus on her studies because of you. Thank you all for your support of Manasa and the Sankurathri Foundation. Manasa truly has a happier, better life thanks to your care.
