Harika Devi can grow because of your help

Kadali Harika Devi
Dear UBS,

Six year old Kadali Harika Devi is the first child of an auto driver and hails from Penumarthi, a village in Andhra Pradesh, India. Her father earns about four dollars a day. Education is rarely a priority for children in rural India. Poverty stricken families are often forced to send their children into child labor in order to adequately support their family. Sankurathri supplies lunches to students like Harika Devi as an incentive to attend school and avoid child labor.

Harika Devi is now in the first grade at Sarada Vidyalayam, the school run by Sankurathri. The school maintains good discipline and a quality curriculum, and imparts good values to groom students as good citizens.

Most of the rural children that attend Sarada Vidyalayam are undernourished and underweight. Harika Devi is very smart and a well-behaved student. Sankurathri provides lunches to children like Harika Devi so they can focus on their studies instead of hunger pangs.

With your help, Friedman Group at UBS, we have been able to provide lunch to a child like Harika Devi. Thank you for creating a bright future for children through Sankurathri!
